Thames Water Grant for Reading CEV Team

We’d like to give a huge thank you to Thames Water and their Community Fund for giving us a grant, that has enabled our Reading Community Emergency Volunteer (CEV) Team to purchase all the required equipment to support their local community, and those across Berkshire.

The equipment includes:

- Work lights

- Traffic management equipment

- PPE

- Severe weather clean-up tools

- Incident management equipment

- Emergency shelters

This important equipment enhances our capabilities for the emergency services, and local authorities, such as Reading Borough Council, Wokingham Borough Council and West Berkshire Council should they require our support.

Also thanks to some of the equipment suppliers such as Protect Signs and Night Searcher for the generous discount!
